Régis, 52, has more than 25 years of experience in financing and banking regulatory advice. He regularly assists lenders and sponsors on their project financing operations, particularly in the field of renewable energies. Régis is also recognized for his advice on corporate finance and real estate for national and international transactions, and has a solid experience in assisting banks and financial institutions on their regulatory issues, their reorganizations and the sale / restructuring of their portfolios.
Régis holds a DEA (Masters) in Private Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon Assas, an LLM in European Law from the University of Exeter. After beginning his career with the Capital Markets team at Banque Paribas, Régis joined the Paris office of Herbert Smith Freehills as a partner in the Banking and Finance practice in 2006, after working at De Pardieu Brocas Maffei and Lovells.
